The technasium is an educational program in the Netherlands for both vwo and havo students. It revolves around Research and Design, where students work together in teams on practical projects in the field of STEM.
Affiliated schools
In Almere, there are 2 schools affiliated as technasium schools: Helen Parkhurst (Dalton education) and Poort Lyceum. These schools work closely with the province of Flevoland, Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and Aeres University of Applied Sciences, and the regional business community to show students how innovative and technologically advanced the business community and governments in Almere and the region are.
