Almere is the fastest growing city in the Netherlands. How do we make sure our city is healthier, more sustainable and pleasant to live in in the future? What role does food play in that? How do we ensure that people have access to healthy meals? Food Pioneers is building a healthy and sustainable food system. Not just for Almere, but for the whole world. It seeks to better equip both citizens and producers to make conscious food choices. Entrepreneurs, researchers, education, policymakers and citizens are working intensively together to make food chains shorter and more sustainable.
