PRICE is the Flevoland action lab for doers building a circular living environment. It brings together entrepreneurs, students, teachers, residents and government to make the new economy a reality. An economy that looks beyond just making money.
Building a circular Flevoland
PRICE stands for Practical and Innovation Centre Circular Economy. But it is better known as the field lab for Flevoland doers and dreamers. People who would rather take steps towards circularity today than tomorrow. In PRICE, entrepreneurs and businesses, students and teachers, residents and government work together to build a resilient, future-proof Flevoland. And in a hurry, because by 2030 there must be 100,000 new 100% sustainable homes in our province. A huge challenge that is only feasible if we join forces. Not only on a technical level, but also socially and ecologically. In other words, PRICE.

PRICE organises challenges in which a group of experts from different disciplines work on research or a concrete question from the business community. They work in changing teams on circular issues and concrete prototypes that are tested in practice. Some ten challenges are currently running, including designing the Almere student campus, making business park Stichtsekant energy-neutral, developing and applying bio-based building materials, and researching fiscal greening. All themes we need to work on to shape the circular transition. If you are interested in a particular challenge, let us know.
