Are you an entrepreneur from Almere keen to contribute to a circular economy? Good news! From 1 March 2025, a business space will become available in the Upcycle Centre. Here, you will have access to valuable waste streams from the recycling platform for two years to further develop your product, concept or business idea.
What does the Upcycle centre offer?
The Upcycle Centre is located at 113 Steiger. It consists of three parts: a recycling platform, entrepreneurs and the experience centre. On the recycling platform, raw materials are collected that established entrepreneurs may use for new products. Do you have a good idea for a (new) circular product or business concept? Then you can use 1 or more material streams for 2 years and your own 35m2 space where you can experiment, develop and/or exhibit. And more benefits such as:
- You receive an amount for the purchase of basic tools/equipment/furniture
- After 2 years, you get the opportunity to take over the tools and/or equipment/furnishing at current market value
- Take advantage of interesting networking opportunities that can help you further
- You will contribute to the development of an education package
