Entrepreneurs Randstad 22 join forces in new entrepreneurs' association

Entrepreneurs in Almere's Randstad 22 business park have joined forces and founded a new entrepreneurs' association: the Vereniging Bedrijventerrein Randstad 22. The official launch took place on Thursday afternoon at WonderBit, where alderwoman for the economy Maaike Veeningen raised the Randstad 22 flag together with entrepreneurs.

The initiative for the association came from previous meetings between entrepreneurs, including at meetings with the theme 'Neighbours Meet Neighbours'. These conversations formed the basis for the idea of developing mutual cooperation on the ground.

The entrepreneurs' association focuses on common themes such as safety, accessibility and the appearance of the business park. In addition, the association acts as a network where entrepreneurs can meet and exchange knowledge.

Know who your neighbours are

Stijn Sprenkels, president of the association: "It starts with knowing who your neighbours are. This applies at home, but also on a business park. If you know each other, it's easier to find each other if something comes up. Together, you are also stronger towards the municipality, police and other organisations. That is why it is important for entrepreneurs to get to know each other in an accessible way and share what is going on. In this way, together we ensure that Randstad 22 remains an area where you are proud to receive your customers."

The Municipality of Almere encourages cooperation and organisational strength among entrepreneurs in business parks. This is in line with the city's Economic Agenda, in which strengthening organisational power is an important spearhead. Initiatives such as the Randstad 22 Business Park Association contribute to powerful, well-organised and future-proof business parks.

"Strong business areas are created when entrepreneurs know how to find each other and take initiative together. It is great to see that the entrepreneurs on Randstad 22 have organised themselves on their own initiative. This not only strengthens their mutual cooperation, but also the business park as a whole. As a municipality, we are happy to contribute to this," says councillor Maaike Veeningen.
