Sparkling kick-off Startup Hero Journey 2024

Thursday 23 May saw the scintillating kick-off of the second edition of UPALMERE's Startup HeroJourney. Eight promising Almere startups were selected to participate in this dynamic 2024 program, in which they will immerse themselves in a series of inspiring workshops and master classes for six months. The participating startups and scale-ups for the Startup Hero Journey 2024 are: Business Channel One, ConCode, Digital Wizards, EveRceit, Globadyme, GRNR, Stone Paper and Master Your Influence.

Objective: To stimulate growth and innovation
The aim of the program is to inspire and challenge these entrepreneurs to look beyond their current business operations. They are encouraged to develop new business ideas, with a strong focus on sustainability and measurable impact. Each of these startups is on the cusp of an adventure full of growth and innovation.

Kick-off with inspirational sessions
During the kick-off, the program for 2024 was unveiled and an inspirational session was led by Dylan Reede from the Almere-based startup G-Tec. Insights into the economic development of the municipality of Almere were also shared by Yannes Koning, a strategist from the Economic Development and Land Affairs department. Suzanne and Randy Bel from Static Entertainment, winners of the Startup Hero Journey 2023, shared valuable experiences from their journey over the past year. The day concluded with a speed-dating session between the startups and mentors.

UPALMERE, inspired by last year's success, looks forward with anticipation to the growth these startups will experience during the program.
