Innovation Fund Flevoland

Flevoland Province has established an innovation fund to strengthen the social relevance of the library.

De Nieuwe Bibliotheek and FlevoMeer Library work together in the field of innovation, using innovation to increase the social impact of the contemporary library and improve and/or renew services online and offline. Key themes are tackling low literacy, participation in the information society and lifelong development. To maximise social impact, many projects are developed together with partners.

Partner projects

Flevoland Province has established an innovation fund to strengthen the social relevance of the library. Part B of this fund is intended for projects of parties (social organisations, associations and entrepreneurs) that see opportunities in innovative forms of cooperation with the library. The so-called partner projects.

Would you like to collaborate with FlevoMeer Library or De Nieuwe Bibliotheek? And does your organisation, business or association have a good idea? An idea that involves innovation, cooperation and impact for the library sector? Then it's good to know that €139,500 is available annually for applications (€40,000 maximum per project).

Grant applications can be submitted in May 2022 (for projects with a start date in the autumn of the current year) and in November 2022 (for projects with a start date in the spring of the following year).
