Zero-emission zones from 2028

From 1 January 2028, Almere will introduce three zero-emission zones: Almere Stad, Haven and Buiten. In these areas, only vans and trucks are allowed to drive zero-emission vehicles, such as electric vehicles or hydrogen cars. This will ensure cleaner air and a healthier living environment.

Are you affected by this? Do the license plate check at https://www.opwegnaarzes.nl and find out until when your vehicle has access. There are transitional arrangements, exemptions and waivers to give entrepreneurs time.
