Olympuspark offers space for sports, recreation and entrepreneurship

Almere continues to work on the development of the Olympuspark in Almere Poort. In the coming years, this area along the A6 will grow into a versatile landscape park with space for sports, recreation, tourism and entrepreneurship.

To best develop the area, the municipality has launched a market consultation via TenderNed. Entrepreneurs and market players are invited to help think about how to fill the park.

Especially for businesses in sports, leisure and recreation, it offers opportunities. With an area of around 69 hectares and its location near the Top Sports Centre and the events beach, this creates an attractive area for new initiatives and concepts.

Olympuspark is one of the last major development locations in Almere Poort and plays an important role in the further growth of the area. Besides space for entrepreneurship, the focus is also on nature, including an ecological connecting zone towards the Noorderplassen.

The input from the market consultation will be used to further elaborate the development and subdivision plan.

Entrepreneurs who want to contribute to the future of this area can submit their vision until Friday 29 May.
