Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging has been based in Almere at business park De Vaart 1-3 since 2008. Gertjan van Leyen and Isabelle Gouw (owners) say they chose Almere because of its central geographical location in the Netherlands and that, although Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging delivers to the whole of the Netherlands, they also find a large market in Almere.

Things are going well for Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging. They have now expanded to a second building in the same business park. One building is entirely dedicated to the production of wooden products (pallets, boxes, crates, packaging) and plastic products (pallets, bins, etc.) are manufactured from the other building.

Isabelle Gouw says they can deliver to the whole of the Netherlands from Almere. "The logistics capabilities of business park De Vaart 1-3 are ideal for a company like Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging. The spacious layout allows trucks to load, unload and turn around efficiently, and the short approach route via the A6 and A27 means deliveries can be planned well," says Isabelle Gouw.

Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging has been based in Almere since 2008. They are a wholesaler of pallets, crates and everything related to wooden packaging. Moreover, all pallets are treated according to the ISPM-15 standard.

Van Leyen Pallets & Packaging now has 13,000 m2 of business space spread across two locations in Almere at business park De Vaart 1-3. In total, they employ about 17 people. They also have their own transport fleet with which they deliver to the whole of the Netherlands.

Besides personal sales, sales are also made through the webshop. Via www.palletplaza.nl and www.vanleyenpackaging.nl, pallets, boxes, crates and everything for use in and around a warehouse are sold. And via www.plasticpalletplaza.com, plastic pallets & bins are sold.
