Pride radiates from Marc Herdes and John van den Bosch, the owner duo of Camerainstallatie.nl. From IT specialist to camera security

Camerainstallatie.nl was founded in Almere in 1999 and started as an IT/ICT specialist. The company grew into one of the largest providers of camera surveillance systems in the Netherlands, both for business and private customers. The company has always placed great value on social commitment. Herdes says: "We work together with schools and the ROC to inspire young people for a career in engineering. We give guest lectures, help with job application training and supervise trainees."

Sustainability and innovation as spearheads

At Camerainstallatie.nl, innovation, sustainability and social responsibility are high on the agenda. Van der Bosch: "We continue to invest in the latest technologies and training for our team. The market is constantly changing and we continue to develop to offer our customers the best service."

The big advantage of their services is that customers do not have to worry about the process. From drilling holes and pulling cables to adjusting cameras and programming the security system - everything is taken care of. "Our customers get a total solution from one source," says Herdes.

The switch to electronic security started for Camerainstallatie.nl around 2005. Herdes: "You used to be just an electrician, but now you have to be all-round in a specialist sector. It is important to keep up with developments, such as laws and regulations, certification and quality marks."

Vision for the future: Growth while maintaining personal contact

Van der Bosch looks to the future with confidence: "We want to focus on larger companies. We went from private to medium-sized and now we want to take the next step. But always according to our basic principle: personal contact, no finger-pointing and proactive thinking. We always say: if you make the coffee, we'll do the rest."
